The previously unpublished catalogue of the important Maiolica collection which belonged to the former Industrial Artistic Museum in Rome, and which is now largely housed in the Palazzo Barberini. The catalogue of this collection was put together by Gaetano Ballardini (1878-1953), foremost scholar and founder of the Faenza Ceramic Museum. The catalogue is here published for the first time in its integral form with notes and commentaries by Gian Carlo Bojani, the current director of the Faenza Ceramic Museum.
