The present article, on the basis of new evidence, delineates the chronology and context of the decoration of the studiolo of Margaret of Parma in Palazzo Medici in Rome, highlighting the role of Perino del Vaga as coordinator of the enterprise and the contribution of his assistants (Daniele da Volterra and Francesco Torni also known as L'Indaco).
