The article attributes an unpublished panel painting, representing ‘Saint Paul’ (cm 54.5 x 28.8), to the Emilian painter Nosadella. This ‘Saint Paul’ compares well with other works produced by the artist during the 1560s, such as the panel painting ‘Presentation of Jesus at the Temple’ now at the Allen Memorial Art Museum in Oberlin, Ohio. Following a customary practice, Nosadella repeated the formal solution for the figure of the Saint in the drawing of the ‘Adoration of the Magi’ now at the Metropolitan Museum.
